REMEMBRANCE DAY – On Remembrance Day P5/6 and P7 went up to the war memorial to show their respects and hold their two minute silence.  The children were impeccably well behaved and showed great interest in reading the names on the memorial afterwards.  Craig laid a handmade wreath from P5/6 to remember the fallen.

STUDENTOur Postgraduate student Mr Baxter has been increasing his teaching time over the last couple of weeks.  Mr Baxter will be with us until Friday 6th December.

HALLOWEENOn Halloween, the children of P5/6 wrote spooky stories by candlelight.  The classroom was decorated, appropriately and the children enjoyed the atmosphere in what is an exciting day for them.

We have had a busy return to school.  The children will be taking part in Kodaly, every Monday morning which is a music lesson introducing beat and rhythm.

On Tuesday mornings, this term, the older children in the school will be learning about Christianity and bible stories through ‘Bible Alive’.  The pupils enjoyed dressing up and participating actively in the lesson, as seen from the photos taken.
